“Women To Women” exists to support the mission of New Hope Bible Church by equipping women to become passionate disciples of Jesus. Why does New Hope even need a women’s group? Is there something we can’t accomplish without it? Well, yes. Women are uniquely designed (as most men would agree). Do you see the guys crying together over coffee? Not usually. Women are made to be in close community, helping to refine one another and teach one another in godliness from generation to generation. Women to Women seeks to use these unique relationships to ‘spur one another on toward love and good deeds.’
The goal of “passionate discipleship” is manifest in several ways: -a life that seeks to abide in Christ -a life that seeks after God in prayer -a life that loves His Word -a life that is enriched through godly friendships and accountability -a life that shows compassion towards the lost and hurting -a life that serves others -a life that is open to correction and repentance -a life that desires to obey
We pray we will only do things that foster a LIFE of passionate discipleship. We pray about each and every activity Women to Women facilitates. Even if it looks like it’s just a random get-together, it’s not. We pray that as we build relationships with one another and share our lives with one another that God will use it for His glory. We pray that we will overflow with excitement and joy about what God has done and is doing in our lives.
So how can we serve you and get you plugged into Women to Women? Just ask anyone around you to point you in the right direction. I’d love to chat with you. For your information, some of the currently supported activities are: bible studies, baby and bridal showers, annual Christmas get-together, Fall retreat at Cannon Beach Conference Center (Oregon), Spring Retreat (local), book club, scripture memory, self defense and serving ministries like Life Services and Christ Kitchen.
