I was born in Twenty Nine Palms, California on a Marine Corps base. My father moved our family to Washington State when I was 2 years old, and we lived in Longview and Tacoma before settling in Spokane when I was in Middle School. Shortly after moving to Spokane I received Jesus Christ as my Savior through the youth ministry of a local church. I became actively involved with the group and was mentored by the youth pastor through his discipleship, and it was then that I became rooted in God’s Word and began to hear His call to ministry.
I was born in Spokane, Washington in 1977. At the age of three, my family moved to central Wyoming where I spent a majority of my childhood. I came to believe on the Lord Jesus in the spring of 1991 at a local church in Riverton, Wyoming and immediately became involved in both youth and worship ministries. In 1992 I returned to Spokane and graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1995. I attended both Spokane Falls Community College and Washington State University where I studied Music Education. I met my wife Amy in 1998 and began attending services at New Hope later that same year. We were married in July of 2000 and have two beautiful daughters named Logan and Morgan. In May of 2002 I came on staff part time as Worship Pastor and began full time employment with New Hope in September of 2003 taking on the added title of Youth Pastor. In my spare time outside of ministry in the church I enjoy motorcycles, sports and music, however there is no activity under the sun I enjoy more than spending time with my wife and children. Praise God for my family!
I was born and raised in Arcadia California, right in the heart of Southern California. Although growing up in a church and hearing Bible stories, I had little to no interest in anything dealing with Christianity. After several years through Junior and Senior High, of running from God and living for the things of this world, God placed His mighty hand on my heart in November of 2006. I quickly fell in love with God's word, and reaching His people. I was challenged in the first year of my walk with this simple question, "Why do you believe what you believe?" And for the last five years of my life I have been on a quest to answer that question and help others come to the same amazing conclusions.
I was born in Twin Falls, Idaho and grew up in the Boise Valley of southern Idaho on a 40 acre ranch near the towns of Roswell and Parma. I accepted the Lord Jesus as my Savior when I was about 12 years old and was baptized shortly afterwards. In high school I began to be an outspoken witness for the Lord, which continues to this day. After graduating from high school in 1945 I attended Multnomah School of the Bible from 1946-1949, Los Angeles Baptist College and Seminary in 1962, and received my Bachelor of Science degree from Spokane Community College in 1967.
I was born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1943, the oldest of 5 children. My sisters and I were raised by godly Christian parents, and I placed my faith in Jesus Christ and accepted His gift of salvation when I was 6 years old. Following graduation from high school, I attended Ohio State University and graduated in 1967 with the degree Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. While in college, I met Jo Ann Glaze when she came to Columbus from Galion, Ohio, to attend nursing school at Riverside White Cross Hospital. We were married 3 years later and, following my graduation from OSU, we re-located to Spokane, Washington, where I served 3 years in the U.S. Army as a Captain in the Veterinary Corps. Shortly after arriving in Spokane, we became members of Euclid Ave. Baptist Church and were soon involved in youth ministry, choir (Dick), AWANA, and teaching Sunday School.
I came to know Christ as my Savior in my early teen years. I loved learning about Jesus through the Bible and became active in Sunday School, church, and youth group. I am a graduate of Whitworth University with an Organizational Management degree. My husband, Dick, and I have 3 grown and married children and 9 grandchildren. I have served in various ministries over the years including Sunday School director and teacher, co-director of Noah's Ark and AWANA leader, choir ministry, and director of Women's Ministry as well as a member of the Deacon Board. My favorite Bible verse is Gal 6:14 "As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world's interest in me has also died."
