DEFINITION OF MISSIONSAny ministry that extends beyond the local sphere of influence of the congregation and its meeting place; whose primary aim is the proclamation of the Gospel, the salvation of the lost, the planting of indigenous churches, the training of disciples and the meeting of human needs to demonstrate Christ's love to the lost. MISSIONS BUDGETA portion of our missions budget is utilized for such needs as our annual Missions Conference, summer and short term missionary workers, guest speakers, mission films, literature and books. MISSIONS CONFERENCEWe as a church sponsor an annual Missions Conference during the first full week in October in order to stimulate greater interest in missions and present personal reports from active missionaries and missionary candidates.
