I was born in Spokane, but grew up in central Wyoming. I met the Lord in the spring of 1991 at a small church in Riverton, Wyoming. In 1992 I returned to Spokane. I met my wife, Amy in May of 1998 while we both worked at Shopko, and were married on July 15, 2000. We have two beautiful young daughters, Logan and Morgan. I started attending New Hope in the fall of 1998 and became involved in the music ministry playing the bass guitar almost right away. I came on staff part-time in May of 2002 to direct the Worship Team and was licensed as a pastor at that time. In late September of 2003, I began to hold youth meetings and then came on staff full-time the following month. I attended Spokane Falls Community College for one year and then transferred to Washington State University where I studied Music Education for two years. The focus of my ministry is worship ministry, youth ministry, and co-leading a home group. My ministry goals are to honor God, to serve people, and to always strive to do whatever I do better. My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 3:12-14: “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” In my spare time I enjoy motorcycles, sports and music, but above all, I enjoy hanging out with my three favorite ladies!! |
