1 Corinthians 16:13-14 - “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”

What is a man?

Manhood is not determined by arriving at a certain age or having a particular set of abilities, but rather it is marked by character and responsibility.

The mission statement of New Hope Bible Church declares that we exist “to honor God by helping people experience the hope of Christ so that they may become His fully committed followers.” For a man to become a fully committed follower, he must learn to lead. In his family. In his church. In his community.

Men of Valor exists to walk out the mission of training men to become fully committed followers using the bench mark of character listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:5-9. Successful men’s ministry should help men progress continually toward the biblical qualifications for leadership.
